China success is unacceptable to America. In fact she dreads China will take over the number one power in geoeconomics. Economic dominance is the base upon which one projects political power which in turns means unbendable military muscle. In the pecking order fear of losing number one position is the demotivator even for the strongest player in any contest be it military or otherwise. Once this position slips through fingers getting it back means total war whose proportions cannot be imagined by us as onlookers.
What annoys USA most is that the capitalist system she was propagating since its founding in late seventeenth century, July 4, 1776 to be precise. This system theorizes that wealth must be accumulated by fewer people and the rest of the population must pay fealty to those holding the reign as if they were favoured by the God.
China on the other hand espouses Marxism-Leninism with Chinese characteristics that aims to set in enlightened capitalism where the rewards are distributed fairly. The down trodden have the opportunity to move upscale and as it was evidenced recently China has lifted more than 600 million people above the poverty line. Reportedly, China success is really a nightmare to USA establishment.
USA boasts about a system known as “Rules based international order” where neither the rules nor the parties who subscribed to these rules have been disclosed. No contract or entente cordiale has ever been published except for the fact that USA sets the rules and the rest of the world must follow these meekly. Highlights of the system include American exceptionalism, USA as the sole prosecutor, judge and jailer should there be any violation, innocuously appearing free market system where USA has sole prerogative to impose tariffs & sanctions that must be accepted & acceded to by all and sundry without slightest murmur, and so on.
Instrumentation of the rule based international order is being done via three main ways: Firstly, military industrial complex accounting for more than 30% of GDP alone with the concept of forever war so that it is properly oiled to function seamlessly. Secondly, to make the entire world economy reliant on US Dollars as exchange & reserve currency to enable the printing press to roll out volumes of fiat currency which does not have the gold backing. Thirdly, the solemn oath of allegiance is demanded from the Senate, House of Representatives and all other political organs spread across the length and breadth of United States. Everyone who holds political, administrative and military ranks are to be always loyal (semper fidelis) to the system. Any sign of disobedience is repulsed with physical & financial harm to the perpetrator as if he is a criminal of first degree murder!
Let this sink in: China success can overturn all these artificial structures that bind the USA geoeconomics power tools. America blindsided by its own unfounded faith as geoeconomics leader is leaving no stone unturned to arrest the situation and push back on China in its neighbourhood and in distant geography.
But pushing things much far is wrought with biggest danger. It cannot be head-on clash in the political and military sense, but the tectonic fissures would be felt in geoeconomics. The bottom line is American cannot survive without China in geoeconomics, so to speak. USA imports 42% of products from China alone. If China decides to dump USA sovereign debt the following day devaluation of Dollar could devastate the entire country, much more than what a nuclear weapon could do!
